About Beacon

Personality: Eager, alert and attentive. In your pocket. High energy, requires 1-2 off leash activities per day to maintain a healthy in-house disposition.

Disposition: Beacon is a ball-dog. He’s completely loyal and focused on play rewards. He can be obsessive dedicated to his play items and he will love them to their death. Beacon is a confident dog because he trusts his handlers explicitly. He will do any task asked and will anticipate his handlers every move.

Trainability: Beacon has the easiest temperament for training. He is focused on his handler and wants to please. He can learn any task by name. We often have him jump a small hedge on our walks and he has become a world class boxwood jumper now. Any time he sees one, he knows what to do. Trainable to a fault.

Color: Golden

Composition: Beacon is compact in body. His ears and eyes are alert at all times. His coat is naturally short which he passes along to his offspring making a low maintenance ECS.

Fun Fact: Beacon prefers orange balls, but anything that rolls will capture his heart. We bought Beagon while we were on a train traveling from Beacon, NY to NY, NY.
