About June
Personality: The most gentle of our dogs. She will win your heart. A steady, welcome, cuddling companion. Is always carrying something in her mouth.
Attentive and observant. No matter the task at hand, she wants to be with you while it’s getting done.
Possesses incredible impulse control. The only thing she likes more than chasing balls or birds is being praised for good behavior.
Color/patterning: Classic all-black hunting dog. As a puppy, she had a white patch on her nose and chest that filled out with a dense black roan pattern. Is likely to produce beautiful pups with dense roan patterning on any white spots. Her sire was liver roan and the dam was black with tan points.
Body composition: Within breed standards. Has a petite, lady-like, nose and snout that makes her look refined and elegant.
About Moon
Energetic and playful. She’s the one waking the other pups up from their naps to wrestle.
Positive and engaged. I don’t remember her ever being afraid or anxious. She’s in-the-moment and eternally optimistic.
In training, she is observant and thoughtful. Where other dogs would try anything, right or wrong, Moon observes and discerns.
Color/patterning: Black base coat with tan points. As a puppy, she had two white spots: one on her forehead and one on her chest. Both filled out with a dense blue roan patterning. Is likely to produce beautiful pups with tan points and dense roan patterning on any white spots. Her sire was liver roan and the dam was black with tan points.
